Our Polar Bear Safari explores the Arctic Tundra along the Hudson Bay Coast. Churchill, Manitoba, on the western coast of Hudon Bay, is one of the three largest maternity denning areas in the world

We venture into the treeline of the vast Boreal Forest of the Canadian Shield. We view magnificent white bears at breathtakingly close range from specially designed "Tundra Buggies" which are heated and provide back decks for excellent photographic opportunities on your Polar Bear Safari. Many bears are totally unafraid of these Tundra Buggies and may approach the vehicle allowing close-up photography and observation. We may also see other Arctic species such as arctic fox, hare, and seal. All tours are led by naturalists with extensive experience with both the natural surroundings and the cultural heritage of the Churchill region.
