Delete your data – Been There Yet?

Been There Yet? is made by Thomas (contact: Tsmiffy1992@gmail.com). There are no accounts, so most of your information only exists on your own phone.

Data on your phone

Open the app → Settings → Delete all my data. This permanently deletes every session, route, pin, photo, saved place, area, best game score and offline map on that phone. You can also delete single sessions or pins, or simply uninstall the app, which removes everything.

Group search data (held in our database)

If you have taken part in a group search, the things you shared with that search (your first name, positions, routes, pins, photos, check-ins, messages and game scores) are kept while the search is running. A search ends when the organiser ends it, or automatically after 7 days, and everything in it is deleted 30 days later.

To have it deleted sooner, email Tsmiffy1992@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and include the 6-digit code of the search (and the first name you used). We will delete your information from that search within 30 days and confirm by email.

What we keep

Nothing. We don't keep any of your information after it has been deleted.
